Monthly Top 10: What Made News in April in Sudbury?
Popular restaurant closes, terrorist ties to Sudbury among the stories most read last month.

The shutters were closed. Paper covered the front door. The lights were out.
The closing of Sierras, a popular Mexican restaurant in Sudbury, saddened many residents to the point where it was the most-read article on Sudbury Patch in April.
Owner and Acton resident Sam Cannarozzi, who also closed Serafina Ristorante in Concord, did not return a call seeking comment.

Both the Sudbury Police Department and the Sudbury Board of Selectmen were unaware of the closing of Sierra's.
“Sam is a nice guy,” said Mary McCormack of the Sudbury Selectmen’s office. “It’s sad.”

At No. 2 was news that a couple of local wrestlers at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School grappled with Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev two years ago.
"I'm one of the L-S wrestling coaches - both Nick Murphy and Harry Greenhouse (LS Class of 2011) wrestled against Tsamaev in 2010," L-S wrestling coach Joel Mode emailed Patch.com. "Harry in a dual meet against Cambridge R&L and Nick in the Sectional Tourament."
Tsarnaev was eventually caught while hiding in a boat in Watertown.
The sudden death of a middle school student came in at No. 3.
