Motorist to be Charged With Malicious Destruction in Sudbury

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A road rage incident on Boston Post Road in Sudbury on May 1 will result in charges for one motorist.

According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, officers responded to the incident at about 6:40 p.m.

One motorist allegedly kicked another car then fled the scene into Marlborough.

Marlborough caught the motorist and transferred him back to Sudbury.

That motorist will be officially charged with malicious destruction to a motor vehicle at Framingham District Court.

In other police news from May 1:

  • A resident reported someone followed her from Rte. 117 to her home on Horse Pond Road. The resident did not have a plate description. The other motorist was gone was officers arrived.
  • Officers were dispatched to Boston Post Road for a two-car accident. No one was injured and neither car was towed.
  • A brush fire was reported on Nobscot Road.
  • A mulch fire was reported at Sudbury Farms. Staff extinguished the flames.
  • An iPhone was reported stolen from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in the morning. Staff later reported they had recovered the phone and returned it to its rightful owner.
