New Restaurants, Avalon, Opening At Meadow Walk Sudbury

Meadow Walk is expanding once again.

SUDBURY, MA—More restaurants are coming in and the Avalon apartments are coming along at at brisk pace. The Sudbury Building Department recently shared an update on the former Raytheon property development.

The redevelopment on Boston Post Road at Meadow Walk is moving along, and developers have completed all the commercial building structures and are ready for new tenants.

Mooyah Burger, Oak Barrel Tavern, Panni Restaurant and Peet's Coffee have all gotten building permits. Oak Barrel Tavern has opened and Peet's will open in several weeks.

All of the foundations have been completed for the Avalon building and are about 30 percent ready for occupancy with 81 dwelling units completed.

Meadow Walk Sudbury consists of four project components – a 75,000 SF village retail center of approximately 15 stores anchored by a brand new Whole Foods Market grocery store developed by National Development, a 250-unit luxury apartment community developed by Avalon Bay Communities, a 60-unit active-adult condominium community developed by Pulte Homes and a 48-unit assisted living community developed by National Development/Epoch Senior Living.
