Nominate The 2018 Marlborough Senior of the Year

This special evening honors a Marlborough resident 85 years or older. Who should win it?

MARLBOROUGH, MA—There are many involved seniors in the city who make a difference, who stand out. Now's your chance to give them their due by nominating them for the 2018 Senior of the Year Award.

Mayor Arthur Vigeant announced that the 42nd Annual Senior of the Year dinner is happening on Wednesday, May 23, in the cafeteria at Marlborough High School, with entertainment kicking the night off at 5:30 p.m.

This special evening honors a Marlborough resident 85 years or older and features the Marlborough High School Jazz Combo.

“It is a pleasure to honor a worthy individual who has a history of giving back to the community,” said Vigeant in a statement.

“Our seniors look forward to this annual event each year and enjoy the entertainment provided by students from Marlborough High School,” said Executive COA Director Trish Pope in a statement.
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, May 4, at noon and nomination forms are
available at the Marlborough Senior Center or online.

Forms may be mailed to the Council on Aging at 40 New St., Marlborough, MA 01752.

Vigeant cordially invites Marlborough seniors ages sixty and older to enjoy a delicious dinner that includes a boneless stuffed breast of chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, strawberry shortcake, tea and coffee.
