Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car

A one-car accident involving a pedestrian on May 10 sent one person to the hospital.
According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, the pedestrian was struck while walking along Willow Road at about 5:45 a.m.
She was transported to a local hospital with minor, visible injuries.

"It appears solar glare was a major factor in the accident," Grady said. "We urge people to use caution and be mindful solar glare is a factor this time of year."
As of May 13 no citations had been issued.

The case is still under investigation.
In other police news from May 10-11:
- Officers also responded to a two-car accident on Fairbank Road at 5:45 p.m. Both motorists refused medical transport and neither car was towed from the scene.
- A car being followed by an officer on patrol on Old Sudbury Road pulled over to the side. The motorist asked the officer why he was being followed. The motorist was sent on his way without being issued a citation.
- An officer on patrol witnessed kids at the Grist Mill just after midnight on May 11. They were told to move along.
