Best Friends staff and campers “put on the dog” for the big event It’s prom season for teens everywhere -- and that includes the furry, four-legged kind. More than 50 dogs donned bow ties, boas, tiaras and tails to attend the Doggy Prom at Best Friends Pet Care in Sudbury Wednesday.
- Paintings by Lunenburg Artist Linda Widstrand on Display at Emerson Medical at Sudbury
The paintings of Lunenburg artist Linda Widstrand are on display through October at Emerson Medical at Sudbury, located at 490 Boston Post Road (Route 20 in Chiswick Park). Widstrand, who works out of her studio in Lunenburg, said her art is primarily inspired by nature and music.

Second annual Coaches vs. Cancer Varsity Baseball Game The Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Colonials varsity baseball team takes on the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Warriors on Sunday, May 19, at 5 p.m. in the 2nd annual American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer game. The game will be under the lights at LeLacheur Park in Lowell.
