Ramp Closure Monday Night On I-290 Main St. Shrewsbury, Worcester

SHREWSBURY, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is announcing that overnight tonight, from approximately 9 p.m. and until 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, essential maintenance work requires the closure of the I-290 westbound on-ramp from Main Street in Shrewsbury.

Traffic looking to access I-290 westbound at this location will be directed to follow the detour signage to Plantation Street in Worcester.

MassDOT appreciates the patience of the public as crews perform necessary maintenance. Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
