On-Ramp On I-190 In Worcester Closed Through August

Expect to see a detour through August at this ramp.

WORCESTER, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that the I-190 northbound Exit 1 on-ramp in Worcester is closed, and will remain closed through August.

The ramp is closed so crews can work on construction in the area, as if you couldn't figure this out by seeing all of the orange barrels and workers under the lights.

During this on-ramp closure, traffic looking to get on I-190 northbound at this location will be directed to follow detour signage and utilize Frontage Road northbound to enter I-190 northbound at Exit 2 (Ararat Street, Greendale).
