Sudbury Police Investigating Scam at Boston Post Road Business

A person who attempted to make a purchase at a Sudbury business walked away a little richer after executing an alleged scam.
According to Lt. Robert Grady, the person got away with "double the money" after pulling off the alleged crime on July 27.
"It's a distraction," he said. "The person brings up a large bill, distracts the clerk and winds up taking the larger bill back."
Grady would not say the exact amount of money or the item used in the scam because the case is still under investigation.
