Sudbury Preps For 9/11 Memorial Service On 22nd Anniversary
Three Sudbury residents died in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and the town maintains a memorial garden.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury will mark the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on Monday with a memorial service at the town's 9/11 memorial.
Three people from Sudbury — Geoffrey Cloud, Peter Goodrich and Cora Holland — died in the attacks. Cloud was an attorney at Cantor Fitzgerald in the north tower of the World Trade Center, Goodrich was a passenger on United Flight 175 that hit the south tower and Holland was a passenger on American Flight 11 that hit the north tower.
Sudbury's service on Monday will be held at the 9/11 memorial garden at Heritage Park, 299 Old Sudbury Road. The memorial will begin at 8:40 a.m. with a color guard service, a wreath-laying and tributes to Goodrich, Cloud and Holland.

Nearly 3,000 Americans, including 206 from Massachusetts, were killed in the Sept. 11 attacks, plus more than 100 who died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan following the attacks.
