Sudbury Rents Marlborough Arena For Local Ice Skating Event

Sudbury is inviting residents in surrounding communities to the Friday event at Navin Ice Arena.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — This one's on Sudbury.

The town's parks and recreation department has rented out Navin Ice Arena in Marlborough for several hours Friday, and is inviting anyone from surrounding towns to join in the (discounted) fun.

The family skating night will be free for anyone under age 5, and $10 for anyone over 6. Skate rentals will be free. Public skating at Navin usually costs $6 per skater, plus $6 for skate rentals.

The skating event will from 3 to 5 p.m. with the Sudbury Maynard Stow Youth Hockey Association practice set to take the ice at 5:30 p.m.

Visit the Sudbury recreation department page to register for the event. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
