Sudbury Resident Earns Academic Honors at Carleton College
Here are 5 things to know today in Sudbury.

The Charles Carlin Prize honors senior chemistry majors whose enjoyment of chemistry and gracious good humor has inspired and assisted others in the field. The Mortar Board honor society recognizes students who have combined distinguished scholarship, leadership, and service to their colleagues and the College community.
Election to the Carleton Chapter of Sigma Xi indicates that a student has demonstrated evidence of research potential in a field of pure or applied science.
Borden is the daughter of Christopher Borden and Kimberly Swain and is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
2. On Oct. 31, the Town of Concord will be paving Route 117 from the Sudbury Town Line east to Plainfield Road and again on Saturday from the intersection of Rt. 117 and Sudbury Road, east to the bridge. Motorists can expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
3. The Put & Take at the Transfer Station will close on Oct. 31 until spring.

Thursday: Spooky clouds are still with us. Peek-a-boo sun and a mild, ghastly southerly wind developing in the afternoon. Passing shower possible, but many dry hours. Highs in the low 60s! Mid/upper 50s for the little little ghosts and goblins! Hold on to those bags of candy in the wind.
Friday: Mild, windy and wet with soaking showers likely. Highs near 70. South wind howls!! Gusts could be 40-45mph!! Wind breaks off early afternoon, with some peeks of sun possible late.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Some showers creep back to SE Mass and the Cape. Near 60.
