Sudbury Town Offices Moving To New Hours For Summer

The new summer hours will mean Friday closures for some key Sudbury town offices.

SUDBURY, MA — A sure sign of summer in Sudbury is the move to reduced weeks at town hall.

Starting the week of July 10, some key town offices will be open only four days per week. The reduced hours will last through the week of Aug. 25.

Although many offices will only be open four days per week, town employees will work extra hours during some days to make up for the Fridays off.

These offices will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Tax Collector/Treasurer
  • Town Accountant
  • Town Clerk
  • Veterans’ Services (please check website for office hours)

The town manager, select board and IT offices will retain the usual Monday to Friday schedule. The reduced week will not affect the hours at the Atkinson Pool, Building Department, Conservation Commission, Council on Aging, engineering, fire, Goodnow Library, Health Department, Highway Department, Information Systems, police, public works and recreation.
