The Healing Oils of the Bible Seminar
When/Where: Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 214 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland.
Why Go: Local Young Living representative Mara Rest will walk participants through the use of some of the oils mentioned multiple times in the Bible -- frankincense, sandalwood, hyssop, balm and others -- for healing and cleansing. "Modern Science finds some of them to be as effective as antibiotics and to promote overall health, vitality and longevity." This seminar isn't tied to a particular faith.

14th Annual Charles River Earth Day Cleanup
When/Where: Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at sites all along the Charles River and its tributaries.
Why Go: This annual event depends on thousands of volunteers to come together and remove 40 tons of trash along the Charles River and its tributaries. Check out the link above for information on how to register and locations near you.
Price: Free
Four-Week Teen Yoga Series
When/Where: Begins Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. and continues for the next three weeks at Spinning Lotus Studios, 16 Boston Post Road, Wayland.
Why Go: This class is designed with teens' busy schedules in mind. It will help iimprove strength and flexibility, excellent complements to other athletic activities.
Price: $85 for four-week series.

Author Discusses, "The First Four Notes: Beethoven's Fifth and the Human Imagination"
When/Where: Friday, April 19, 2013, at 7 p.m., at Presbyterian Church in Sudbury, 330 Concord Road, Sudbury.
Why Go: Matthew Guerrieri, music critic with the Boston Globe, will discuss his book "The First Four Notes: Beethoven's Fifth and the Human Imagination." The book traces music history through the first four notes of Beethoven's famous Fifth Symphony.

Historical Pink Tea
When/Where: Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. at West Acton Baptist Church, 592 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton.
Why Go: This fundraiser for Women's Mission Work provides guests the chance to dress up and enjoy punch, tea, sandwiches and sweets. All women and girls are invited.
Price: $10/person.
