What's The Future of Fairbank Community Center?

SUDBURY, MA—The Fairbank Community Center Study Task Force is hosting a presentation and proposal by PROs Consulting for a new Fairbank Community Center, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Senior Center, Sudbury Pines Room at the Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Road in Sudbury. Tours of the Fairbank facility will be given from 5:30-7 p.m.

According to an announcement from the town, PROs Consulting has been working with the Fairbank Community Center Study Task Force to create a building concept for a new community center and to address the costs of operating the facility.

“The Community Center is an important resource for the town,” said Fairbank Community Center Study Task Force Chairman Patricia Brown in a statement. “I look forward to learning about this proposed vision for its future. This will be a great chance for residents to see firsthand the results of an extended collaboration between the task force, consultant and other constituents and to ask questions. We’re hoping for a strong turnout.”
