Your Guide: Support the L-S Cross Country Teams

The 2013 fall sports season is about a month away, and one Lincoln-Sudbury sports program is already trying to get the season off on the right foot.

On Aug. 3, the Lincoln-Sudbury boys and girls cross country teams will host a Fun Run to raise money for the upcoming season. The cost of registration is $10 in advance and $18 at the event.  

To sign up in advance, send an email to lsxcfunrun2013@gmail.com with your name, age and phone number, and “Registration” in the subject line.  

Registration starts at 9 a.m. at the L-S track.  

The adult race (2.8 miles on the home course, which consists of trails, track, and grassy fields) will start at 10 a.m., and the 12-and-under race (1.8 miles) will start at 10:30 a.m.  

There will be prizes for the winners and shirts and food for sale.
