Watertown Declares Snow Emergency For Friday
Parking restrictions will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday. Trash and recycling pickup will not be delayed.
WATERTOWN, MA — The city of Watertown is declaring a snow emergency, which will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday.
Residents should be advised that on-street parking will be banned after 12:01 a.m. and any motor vehicle left on the street will be subject to towing.
The Superintendent of Public Works is thanking everyone in advance for their cooperation during the snow emergency, as Watertown is expected to get more than 6 inches of snow. The superintendent would also request every resident help assist in the clearing off of fire hydrants, sidewalks and catch basins in your area.

Watertown officials are also asking residents to check in on the elderly population in your neighborhood.

The snow emergency will remain in effect until further notice.
