5 Things: Blizzard of 2013 Edition
A few things you need to know as the Blizzard of 2013 barrels into Wayland.
1. Wayland Storm Info Center. We're working hard to be your source for all things Blizzard of 2013 ... but specifically as it relates to Wayland. Make sure you're signed up for our Breaking News alerts, following us on Facebook and Twitter, and have bookmarked the Blizzard of 2013 Info Center.
2. Some Closings. Wayland Town Building and Wayland Public Library are closed today. The Wayland Transfer Station is closed Saturday. For more cancellation information see our running article.
3. Don't Park in the Street. Wayland's road clearing crews are seriously delayed by even one car parked on the street. Keep the cars in the driveway.

4. Clear Snow from Nearby Fire Hydrants. A snowy bad situation gets worse if an emergency happens and snow is is obstructing the nearest fire hydrant.
5. Stick Your Camera Out the Window! Don't go out on the roads (governor's orders), but DO take lots of photos as the Blizzard of 2013 flies into Wayland ... and upload them to our Community Gallery.
