5 Things: EDC in the Morning, Sherlock Holmes, Movie Festival and More

1. Morning Meeting. The Economic Development Committee is scheduled to have another morning gathering. Members will convene at 8:30 a.m. at Wayland Town Building. The River's Edge housing development remains a primary agenda topic.

2. Other Meetings. This evening the Wayland Housing Authority, Conservation Commission and Historic District Commission will convene. All the meetings are scheduled to take place at Wayland Town Building. Click the committee names for agendas.

3. Vokes Production. "Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure" is nearing its final act at the Vokes Theater. Performances continue through Saturday.

4. Movie Festival. Some talented filmmakers at Wayland High School will be screening their original movies tonight during the third annual Wayland High School Movie Festival. Tickets are available at the door.

5. TOMORROW. The next installment of Great Decisions 2013 will take place at the Wayland Public Library at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, May 17. The topic will focus on humanitarian intervention and the West's response to the conflicts in Libya and Syria.
