5 Things: Morning Meeting, Evening Meetings, Warrior Baseball

A few things you need to know on Thursday, May 30, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Morning Meeting. We mentioned this in yesterday's 5 things, but here it is again: The Wastewater Management District Commission will meet at 8:45 a.m. at Wayland Town Building.

2. And the meetings continue ... later today, the School Committee (7 p.m.), the 375th Anniversary Committee (7 p.m.), the Economic Development Committee (7 p.m.), the Surface Water Quality Committee (7:30 p.m.) and the Conservation Commission (7:30 p.m.) all meet.

3. It's Thursday and that means the Wayland Public Library will be holding it's Mother Goose storytime for children up to age 2.5. Age-appropriate stories, songs and more are part of this time beginning at 10:30 a.m.

4. Voter reminder: On June 25, Massachusetts voters will head to the polls to elect a U.S. senator to fill the seat vacated when John Kerry became U.S. secretary of state. If you want to vote in that election, you need to register by June 5. There are details on the Wayland town clerk's website.

5. It's tournament season for Wayland High School athletes. The baseball team will travel to Francis Wyman School today to take on Burlington High School at 4 p.m. in the first round of the MIAA tournament.
