Fire Log: Brush Fire Battle, Medical Calls, Cooking Smoke

The following information was supplied by the Wayland Fire Department.

The Wayland Fire Department answered 62 calls for assistance during the week of April 22-28, 2013. This is a summary of those incidents excepting site inspections.

Monday, April 29, 2013
8:33 a.m. - Eden Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

8:53 a.m. - 14 West Plain St & 50 Cochituate Rd, fire alarm system work

1:38 p.m. - Bent Ave, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

2:34 p.m. - Boston Post Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital

5:18 p.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

6:53 a.m. - 102 Glezen Lane, motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported

7:47 a.m. - 103 Old Sudbury Rd, activation of alarm system

9:28 a.m. - 14 West Plain St, 103 Old Sudbury Rd, fire alarm system work

10:19 a.m. - 80 Main St & 5 Damon St, fire drill conducted

11:22 a.m. - Landham Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

11:31 a.m. - Boston Post Rd, motor vehicle accident, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

11:59 a.m. -  10 Bent Ave, fire alarm activation due to light smoke in apartment from a lose overhead stove vent

3:25 p.m. - 38 Cochituate Rd, public education conducted

3:27 p.m. - 209 Rice Rd, caller reported a wire arching in tree

3:34 pm. - Horse Pond Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

3:42 p.m. - Sunset Rd, well being check

5:27 p.m. - 106 Main St, activation of fire alarm due to light smoke from cooking

11:50 p.m. - Old Sudbury Rd @ Andrew, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital
