The Wayland Fire Department answered 52 calls for assistance during the week of May 20-26, 2013. This is a summary of those incidents excepting site inspections.

4:34 a.m. - Willowbrook Lane, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital
7:15 a.m. - 1 Bow Rd, two car motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported
10:43 a.m. - 397 Boston Post Rd, activation of smoke detector due to malfunction
11:37 a.m. - 163 Main St, activation of smoke detector due to cooking
1:29 p.m. - 10 Green Way, service call
2:02 p.m. - 86 Claypit Hill Rd, public education conducted
2:16 p.m. - 469 Old Connecticut Path, motor vehicle accident, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital
2:54 p.m. - Main St, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital
