Girls Lacrosse Falls in Tight Semifinal Match

The No. 3 Wayland High School girls' lacrosse team put up a solid fight, but fell just short against the higher-ranked Marblehead team.

On Tuesday, Wayland traveled to Marblehead to take on the No. 2-seeded team in the semifinal round of the MIAA tournanment.

The match was tight throughout, but a last-minute save proved the deciding factor and sealed the 13-12 victory for Marblehead.
