New Administrator Named For Wayland
The board unanimously voted for the new town administrator.

WAYLAND, MA—The Board of Selectmen, by a unanimous vote, chose a new town administrator for Wayland on Monday night.
The board selected Louise Miller from the three finalists, which also included Andrew Scribner-MacLean and Graham Waters. Miller will replace the outgoing Nan Balmer, who in February announced she would not renew her contract.
Miller is currently the budget manager for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, and prior to that she worked in senior positions for the city of Medford.

A Needham resident, she's also volunteered extensively for the town, as she noted in her cover letter while applying for the position. Among her accomplishments: she launched the New Year's Eve celebration for Needham.
