Boosters Welcome New England Patriots For Annual Basketball Game

Wayland High School athletes and staff took to the hardwood May 9 for a friendly basketball game against members of the New England Patriots.

"I enjoy playing with the kids," Wayland High School Principal Pat Tutwiler said, adding he had only missed one year of playing since coming to the school. "This is an important event because it supports the sports programs and sports are a big part of Wayland High School."

The field house was flooded with kids and adults eager for a chance to watch members of their favorite football team show off their basketball skills or have a piece of paraphernalia signed.

Ultimately the Patriots walked away with the victory over the Wayland Boosters All-Stars, 78-73.
