Wayland Police Arrest Two for DUI

Wayland Police recently arrested two people on charges for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Oct. 27, police arrested a 27-year-old Maynard woman.

The incident began at around 2:45 a.m. when police received a report of a car traveling east on Route 30 with a flat tire on the passenger side. An officer stopped the car and conducted an investigation. Vanessa F. Leedom, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Oct. 26, police arrested a 27-year-old Northborough woman on similar charges.

At around 12:30 a.m., an officer stopped a car on Old Connecticut Path for failing stay within the marked lanes. After an investigation, Kaitlyn Harned, 27, of Northborough, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and driving to endanger. She was later released on a promise to show up at an Oct. 28 hearing at Framingham District Court.
