Watertown Police Get Some Love from the Boston Bruins, the Red Sox and ...
... from a local embroidering business who made a special rush order.
Boston Bruins players wanted to honor the heroes of the capturing of the Boston Marathon Bombing suspect by donning baseball hats emblazoned with the Watertown Police Department.
Only problem: the WPD didn't have baseball hats.
No problemnow: all you need is a generous and speedy embroiderer.

The call came in Saturday morning and the hats needed to be ready for the game that started at 12:30 p.m.
"We called Three Twins Productions," said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. "They were able to make the hats within an hour."

Vinny, Mike and Tom Gilarde, owners of the business on Calvin Road in Watertown, whipped up the hats and donated them.
"It's another example of the community coming together," Lawn said.
The Bruins players wore hats from the Watertown Police, the State Police and Boston Police for their pre-game skate before the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
"The players loved them," Lawn said.
The love didn't stop there for the Watertown PD.
While they were in Boston, Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau and Lawn got a call from the Red Sox requesting some officers to appear before the game against the Kansas City Royals.
Chief Deveau went on the field at Fenway Park for a ceremony celebrating the first responders in the Boston Marathon Bombings and the search for the suspects.
"They had a video and they flashed 'Watertown' on the screen and everybody went wild," Lawn said.
If you missed the Sox salute to Watertown you will have another chance Sunday. A member of the Police Department will go to the Boston Bruins' game against the Florida Panthers at 12:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
Deveau returned to the Watertown Police Station late Saturday afternoon and found a throng of reporters waiting for him. News crews and reporters from Boston news stations and the Los Angeles Times interviewed him. Dateline NBC's Lester Holt talked to Deveau exensively and he will be interviews later by MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell for a show on Monday night.
