Discolored Water May Come With Westborough Hydrant Flushing
The flushing will take place for most of April, moving through Westborough in sections.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough will begin a period of hydrant flushing on Monday that may result in discolored water coming out of faucets.
The town is advising anyone who experiences discoloration to avoid doing laundry and running hot water until the discoloration goes away.
"If discoloration occurs, we advise running the cold-water tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear," the town said in an advisory this week.
