Dispose Of Your Hazardous Waste On This Designated Day In Westborough

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A community-sponsored event to promote the proper disposal of household hazardous waste is coming up.
Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day in Westborough is happening on Oct. 11. That means you can legally drop off certain wastes at the town's DPW Facility, located at 133 Oak St., from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
"To protect public health and the environment, certain wastes should be put in landfills or incinerated with ordinary household trash," the town wrote in a news release. "Due to their toxicity or potential for pollution of groundwater and air, these materials should be disposed of separately."
