WESTBOROUGH, MA — By the time the dog days of summer get here, you could be looking at some hefty fees.

Westborough charges $15 per spayed or neutered dog, and $20 for unaltered dogs. Since 2014, veterans and residents over age 70 haven't had to pay fees — but the licensing requirement still stands. All dog owners have to provide proof of a rabies vaccination.
