Indian Chain Opening Soon At Former Home Of Uno Pizzeria In Westborough

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A new restaurant is moving into the former home of Uno Pizzeria and Grill in Westborough.

Desi Chowrastha posted signage outside the building in Stagecoach Plaza, located at 225 Turnpike Rd., announcing its upcoming opening. The Indian chain has locations in multiple other states, including New Hampshire.

Desi Chowrastha markets itself on its website as "a one-stop shop" that has groceries, halal meat, and a restaurant concept.

Uno Pizzeria and Grill's Westborough restaurant closed for good in July 2024, according to a social media post. The chain's Framingham location also shuttered last September.
