Westborough Fire Chief Gets Excellence Award

WESTBOROUGH, MA—The Employee Excellence Award committee received several nominations and announced recently that it presenting this award to Fire Chief Pat Purcell.

Nominations received for Purcell expressed that he has “worked to make the Department more efficient and sought out opportunity to increase revenues and returns for the Town” while “expanding the efficiency of the Town's emergency services." “Since taking the position of Chief, Pat has worked tirelessly to transition the Department to new leadership” and has “built a solid support team around him to provide the best services possible to the Town,” said the release.
