Westborough Learns All About Opossums With Community Program

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A special guest made an appearance at the Backyard Wildlife Program in Westborough on Thursday.

Residents learned all about opossums at the Westborough Senior Center, according to a social media post by the town. The program run by Ferncroft Wildlife Rescue focused on the common backyard visitor.

Despite being misunderstood, the cute creatures can be beneficial to your yard and local ecosystem as they eat unwanted pests.
