Westborough Police Officer Graduates State Training As Class President

He was one of 43 officers who graduated from the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee on Tuesday.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A total of 43 officers graduated from the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee's Lynnfield Police Academy on Tuesday.

Officer Timothy Goddard of Westborough was among the officers who graduated from the 7th ROC Lynnfield Class. The staff also chose him to be the class president.

The graduates, representing 25 agencies across the state, completed more than 20 weeks of intensive, standardized training covering all aspects of law enforcement.

Officer Goddard will begin his field training this month, according to the Westborough Police Department.
