Westborough Scouts Announce 2025 Scouting for Food Drive
Cub Scouts will pick up donations from your porch or driveway 9am-noon on Saturday, November 8!

Look for a tag hanging on your front door or mailbox! Westborough scouts are excited to announce the 2025 Scouting for Food Drive, a community-wide effort to help combat hunger right here in town. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 8, with Scouts from all local Scouting America units working together to collect non-perishable food donations from homes across Westborough.
Scouting for Food is one of the largest youth-led service initiatives in the country, where Scouts demonstrate the importance of giving back to their community. Last year, Scouts collected over 6,000lbs of food for local families in need.
On Saturday, November 1, Scouts from Troop 100 and Troop 382 will distribute reminder tags to front doors and mailboxes throughout town. Residents are asked to place non-perishable donations on their front stoop or driveway by 9:00am on Saturday, November 8, when Cub Scouts from Pack 33 and Pack 100 will collect them for delivery to the Westborough Food Pantry.

Donations not picked up by noon may be dropped off at the Food Pantry (9 E Main Street) or placed in collection boxes inside Roche Bros. or Stop & Shop in Westborough.
Need is great - even here in our own community. Last month alone the Food Pantry welcomed twelve new families in addition to the 165 families who already rely on the Pantry each week.
Items on the Food Pantry’s wish list include:
