Westborough's KaLis Day Spa Supporting Food Pantry

Inspired by a client's e-mail, Westborough's KaLis Day Spa will donate 10 percent of her sales of services and products on Wednesday to the Westborough Food Pantry, owner Katia Lisita said Monday.

Lisita said she will do the fundraiser again at her spa, at 146 Milk St., on Dec. 11.

"And another reason is that I do like to support Westborough community," she said.

Lisita provided Westborough Patch with the e-mail that prompted her fundraiser.

It reads, in part, "This morning while I was at the Westborough Food Pantry, volunteers were busy distributing Thanksgiving food bags as they will not be open next week.

"Though they have the groceries for Thanksgiving, one of their current needs as of today is cookies and crackers. And, as always, any and all items are appreciated."

Donations may be left at Westborough Food Pantry bins at Stop and Shop, Roche Bros. and the Westborough Fire Station, the e-mail notes.
