Man With Suspended License Caught in Groton Road Crash

March 21, 6:06 a.m. - An officer was at United U when they learned that there was a serious motor vehicle accident at the corner of Groton and Forrest roads.

Two vehicles, a red Prius and a black Cadillac, required towing assistance from the crash.

A woman driving the Prius was still inside the car when the officer arrived, indicating that she was okay, but her ribs and side hurt. Paramedics offered her on-scene medical assistance.

The man driving the Cadillac said his leg hurt, and indicated that he was on his way to work.

He also received medical assistance, but after further investigation, it was discovered that the man's license was suspended.

The man told the officer that he would lose his job if he did not get to work and he was scheduled to take a class to get his license reinstated.

He received a citation for failing to yield to oncoming traffic and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

April 2, 2:59 a.m. - Londono Liderman Sanchez, 41, of 52 Hudson St. in Marlborough was arrested on charges of alleged operation of an unlicensed motor vehicle

April 5, 1:44 p.m. - Gregory Hammond, 19, of 48 Flushing Pond Rd. was arrested on charges of alleged possession of alcohol by a person under 21.

April 6, 1:13 a.m. - Police brought an unspecificed person into protective custody, followed by another at 2:53 a.m.
