Nashoba Tech Welcomes Largest Freshman Class In Nearly 35 Years
The school has returned to in person learning with a mask mandate for the 2021-2022 school year.
WESTFORD, MA — Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford started the 2021-2022 school year with 208 freshman, the largest incoming class since 1987.
The number of incoming freshman, which is an increase of about 25 from last year, is attributed to "increased interest from students and families in the value of technical education and preparing for careers," according to Superintendent Dr. Denise Pigeon. The school has also returned to in person classes with a mask mandate following a year of hybrid learning.
"We are so pleased to be able to open full time and in person," said Pigeon in a statement.
