Westford Student Receives Elmira College Key Award
Jack Wooldridge was given the award in recognition of scholastic achievement, leadership, citizenship, and extracurricular participation.
WESTFORD, MA — A Westford resident has received the Elmira College Key Award for their academic and community leadership.
Jack Wooldridge was given the award in recognition of high scholastic achievement, leadership, citizenship, and participation in extracurricular activities. Sponsored by the EC Alumni Association, each recipient receives an $80,000 scholarship over a four-year period, $20,000 per year, upon enrolling at Elmira College.
"This award is given to students with the potential to excel academically, serve as leaders, and go on to enjoy success in life," said Charles Lindsay, president of Elmira College, in a statement. "We hope they will choose to make Elmira College their place."

The EC Key Award is a tradition that goes back to 1935 and is presented to outstanding students in their junior year of high school or preparatory school. This year, the award was given to 790 students in 14 states.
Founded in 1855 and located in the Southern Finger Lakes Region of New York, Elmira College is a private liberal arts college that offers over 25 majors, an honors program, 17 academic societies, and 18 Division III varsity teams. For more information, click here.
