Westford's Nashoba Tech Prepares Adults For New Careers
During spring 2021, NCTI offered training in both automotive services and plumbing.

WESTFORD, MA — The Nashoba Career Training Institute (NCTI) at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford is finishing up its second round of training to prepare adults for new careers.
During spring 2021, NCTI offered training in both automotive services and plumbing after utilizing Massachusetts Regional Workforce Blueprints to identify careers that are in high demand nd those where the workforce need is greater than the supply of trained employees. The purpose of NCTI is to provide training for those who wish to fill those positions.
“In cooperation with MassHire and our local business partners, this is a great program for adults seeking a more lucrative career change and even for recent graduates who finished high school amidst the pandemic and had little opportunity for employment or training in the past 18 months,” said Jobee O’Sullivan, Nashoba Tech’s Director of Postsecondary, Continuing and Community Education, in a statement.
