Cooler Air to Bring Cold Overnight Weekend Temperatures to Wilmington
There's the potential for below-freezing temperatures this coming weekend.

It may be time to break out the heated blanket and flannel PJs so you’re ready when temperatures drop into the 20s and low 30s overnight this weekend.
The National Weather Service said Tuesday a cold front in Western New York and Pennsylvania will be swing through New England Tuesday night and the air moving in behind it will bring a cooling trend through the week.

And that’s not all.
A second cold front will move through on Friday, which is expected to bring a strong shot of cold air over the weekend, increasing the potential for below-freezing temperatures over a wide area of Southern New England late Saturday night and late Sunday night.

Just how cold is it going to get? Here’s a look at just hold cold it’s going to be overnight for the rest of the week, with an eye on some chilly nights coming this weekend:
- Tuesday Night: 49 degrees
- Wednesday Night: 39 degrees
- Thursday Night: 43 degrees
- Friday Night: 37 degrees
- Saturday Night: 31 degrees
- Sunday Night: 27 degrees
