Dunkin' Donuts Closing 100 Stores
There are eight Dunkin' Donuts locations in Wilmington.
Dunkin’ Donuts this week announced plans to close 100 stores across the country.
Parent company Dunkin’ Brands made the announcement Thursday. It did not say which locations will be shuttered, but did say they are all at Speedway gas stations and convenience stores.

The company attributed the cuts to slow growth caused by increased egg prices and the upcoming minimum wage hike in New York, among other factors.

The company recently forecasted 1.1 percent sales growth, short of the 2.9 percent forecast the previous quarters.
Dunkin’ is based in Canton, Massachusetts.
