Final Road Paving On Ashwood Avenue In Wilmington Begins Aug. 2

WILMINGTON, MA — Final paving of the Ashwood Avenue area is set to begin late-Monday morning as part of Wilmington's roadway resurfacing project.

According to the Wilmington Department of Public Works, during operations, no street parking will be allowed.

Paving will take place along:

• Ashwood Avenue from (Andover Street to 32 Ashwood Ave.)
• Dogwood Lane
• Blueberry Lane
• Cottonwood Circle

Partial lane closures and full road closures are anticipated, according to the town. Local residents will have access to their properties, although there may be short delays.

"Please refer to social media for updates as the construction date approaches," officials said on the town's website.

Drivers are asked to obey the directives of police details, detour signs and warning signs during all construction operations. They are also asked to not park on the street during construction.

Final paving of Park Street and Marion Street is expected to follow by mid-week, according to town officials.
