Roger G. Carignan, age 82, of Wilmington, died peacefully on October 3, 2015.

Roger was the beloved husband of Jeannette E. (Pattie) Carignan, devoted father of Steven Carignan & his wife Debra of Salem, NH, and Linda Ricci & her husband David of Billerica. Loving “Papa” of Daniel & Megan Carignan, Brian & Amanda Ricci, and Michelle Ricci. Cherished son of the late William and Azilda (Proulx) Carignan, dear brother of Janice Hoffman & her husband Hans of Florida. Roger is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 5-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Roger proudly served with the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War.
