Traffic Alert: Adams Street Paving Tuesday

If you are out an about today be aware that Adams Street is being paved Tuesday.

Officials say there is one-way traffic from Parker Street to Church Street. There is also no access to Adams Street via Church Street.

Adams Street paving is one of two road work projects happening in town which will mean some road closures and detours residents need to be aware of as they are driving through town.

This week Public Works’ crews will be working on both Chestnut Street, as well as on Adams Street and Parker Street.

With both projects, Public Works’ officials say area residents will have access to and from their properties at all times, although there may be short delays.

Drivers in the area are asked to obey the directives of police details, detour signs and warning signs during all construction operations.
