WILMINGTON, MA — Police arrested a man wanted in Broward County, FL on firearms charges last week. Wilmington police were called to the Burger King on Lowell Street Thursday for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Police determined that Santiago Alvarez, age 34, of Plantation, FL, the lone occupant of the vehicle, had an outstanding warrant.Alvarez was arrested without incident as a fugitive from custody. He is facing extradition to Florida.
