- ensuring that all buildings are thoroughly cleaned and ventilated
- ensuring that any aspects of the existing unit agreements impacted by the District’s re-opening plan have been addressed or clarified"
The district began the school year remotely then transitioned to a hybrid model. The high school temporarily reverted back to remote learning after an indoor house party.
"Throughout the process, the parties have been focused on providing the best possible education to the students of Wilmington in what will undoubtedly be a unique school year, while also taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff," the committee and union said. "We will continue to work collaboratively to resolve any issues that occur as the school year progresses."
