WOW's Halloween Costume Drive and Sale Sunday, Oct. 4

We're One Wilmington will match donations collected and pay them forward to the Where Angels Play Foundation.

We’re One Wilmington is holding a Halloween Costume Drive and Sale this weekend where residents can donate costumes and purchase them for a suggested donation. Additionally, families who can’t afford a donation can choose a free costume.

The drive and sale will be held at Villanova Hall at St. Thomas Church on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Here’s what you need to know:

Get a Costume

All community members are invited to come and purchase a gently used costume, they will be available for a suggested donation of $5 per costume. (honor system in effect)

Families who cannot afford to make a donation should attend to choose their free costume.

Anyone who is in need of a free costume but can’t attend this event, should email Jomarie at jomarie0525@yahoo.com prior to Oct. 4 so alternative arrangements can be made.


How to Donate a Costume

If you wish to donate costumes, you may drop them off at The Cleaner Spot (located at 209 Main St.) by Saturday, Oct. 3 or between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. at Villanova Hall on Sunday, Oct. 4.

WOW will match all donations made at this event and pay the donations forward to Where Angels Play Foundation. Where Angels Play recently donated the Sean Collier Memorial Playground at Silver Lake.
