Car Breaks In Worcester Leads To Gun Charges
Officers patrolled Burncoat at night because there had been a lot of car break-ins.

WORCESTER, MA—A pair has been charged with carrying guns and ammo after police came across them in an area where a lot of car break-ins had occurred.
On April 11, officers were in the Burncoat area because of recent complaints about break-ins to cars. Shortly before midnight, a gray car with three men inside appeared to be slowly driving around various side streets in the area with no apparent purpose, said police.
After the car made a turn without using a signal, officers pulled the car over near 300 Burncoat St. Officers approached the car, and noticed what appeared to be the barrel of a firearm between the legs of the rear passenger. No one in the vehicle had a license to carry a firearm. Everyone was removed from the car, and a second gun was discovered under the front passenger’s seat. Several .22 caliber rounds of ammunition were also discovered, said police.
