Driver Flees, Drags State Trooper: Police Locate Suspects
Police searched for the driver and passenger in a car that fled the scene after a traffic stop, dragging the trooper a short distance.

WORCESTER COUNTY, MA—State troopers searched much of the afternoon for a vehicle that fled a stop in Webster around 12:25 p.m. on Friday, the driver dragging the trooper for a short distance.
Massachusetts State Police announced that Fitchburg police found the SUV involved in the incident on South Street in Fitchburg. The female passenger who was in the vehicle was taken into custody, and the K9 unit from Massachusetts State Police later located the male driver and took him into custody.
The driver and passenger both had outstanding warrants at this time, said state police, and the trooper was transported to UMass-Lakeside.

The suspect's vehicle is a green 2008 Honda Pilot with a Mass. plate of 9CKG50. According to police, the suspect originally vehicle fled toward Dudley.
The trooper has non-life threatening injuries.
